Shelby Clone and GT 500 KR

Here are a couple of the Shelby’s that were shown at the recent car show. This one is a clone. The restoration took 5 years to complete. It has 302 Dyno to 510 horsepower! It also features the Mustang II front end.

The sound of this baby was literally out of this world. Mustang engines, when they are well done are like a kick – ass hard rock song.

This is a VERY rare 1968 Shelby GT 500 KR below. It was SO hot. “KR” stands for “King of the Road” for good reason. A car like this goes for around $200,000 right now, the same value as the Ferrari that was down the block from this car. It was definitely a show car, but looked like the owners also had fun “using” the car. I truly believe in DRIVING your car, not just garaging it 24/7. You have to SHARE with the world, and people appreciate this a lot. I have had people tell me that just seeing a classic mustang made their day.
